Senior Account Executive, Apparel (Hybrid Work Setup)
The Account Manager reports directly to the Category Manager and plays an important role in delivering category targets by supporting day-to-day account management, business reviews, campaign execution, and cross-functional coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as a seller growth partner and category support:
- Supports the Category Manager in managing the performance of assigned sellers within the Non-Risk / Sports & Footwear category.
- Manages day-to-day seller relationships and acts as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Tracks seller performance against key KPIs such as NMV, traffic, conversion, assortment growth, stock availability, pricing competitiveness, and campaign participation.
- Identifies growth opportunities within assigned accounts and recommends actions to improve performance.
- Supports the execution of category strategies, commercial plans, and OKRs as defined by the Category Manager and Commercial leadership.
- Works closely with sellers to drive participation in key commercial initiatives such as campaigns, ZAP, co-funding, sponsored ads, rebates, and other revenue-generating activities.
- Assists in preparing seller business reviews, performance updates, SWOT analysis, and lessons learned.
- Supports the Category Manager in monitoring category profitability and seller contribution.
- Helps identify product, brand, pricing, and assortment gaps within assigned seller accounts.
- Coordinates with internal teams to ensure timely execution of seller-related initiatives, projects, and campaigns.
- Provides regular updates to the Category Manager on seller performance, opportunities, risks, and operational concerns.
- Acts as the first point of contact for assigned sellers and ensures timely, professional, and accurate communication.
- Builds strong and collaborative relationships with sellers to improve engagement, performance, and long-term partnership.
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, Content, Onboarding, Planning, and Seller Center teams to resolve seller concerns and execute business plans.
- Supports the Category Manager in seller negotiations, commercial discussions, and preparation of required documentation.
- Ensures sellers are aligned with ZALORA’s commercial requirements, operational standards, and business processes.
- Follows up with sellers on action items related to campaigns, assortment, stock, pricing, content quality, and operational performance.
- Supports the onboarding and development of new sellers within the assigned category.
- Helps ensure that seller issues are escalated appropriately and resolved within agreed timelines.
- Participates in local commercial trade meetings and provides relevant seller updates, wins, challenges, and opportunities.
- Maintains a collaborative working relationship within the Commercial team and other business functions.
- Monitors market trends, competitor activities, pricing, product assortment, and customer behavior relevant to assigned sellers.
- Supports the Category Manager in identifying new trends, key brands, and assortment opportunities.
- Uses available data and insights to understand seller performance and recommend business actions.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the ZALORA customer and supports sellers in offering relevant products and price points.
- Works with sellers to improve product assortment, content quality, availability, and overall customer experience.
- Supports portfolio analysis by identifying risks, gaps, and growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Communicates portfolio highlights, seller strengths, and key opportunities to internal stakeholders when needed.
- Develops strong knowledge of Seller Center and acts as a reliable support to sellers in navigating platform requirements.
- Ensures timely execution of agreed seller plans, campaigns, commercial initiatives, and operational requirements.
- Tracks progress of seller action plans and follows through on pending items.
- Supports the Category Manager in preparing forecasts, campaign plans, reforecasts, and performance reports.
- Helps maintain accurate seller records, commercial terms, campaign commitments, and account updates.
- Coordinates with relevant teams to ensure sellers meet deadlines for campaign submissions, stock preparation, pricing updates, and content requirements.
- Identifies process gaps and suggests improvements to increase efficiency for sellers and the Commercial team.
- Supports special projects related to Seller Center, Non-Risk, hybrid model, and category growth initiatives.
