Buying Operations Intern
We are looking to the most talented Buying Operations Intern based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who can handle our Purchase Orders and manage suppliers competently. This is an exciting opportunity and requires talents who are confident, with a keen eye for details that work well with different stakeholders to complete the work effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Create product details into ZALORA systems and Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP with accurate information in a timely manner, following the agreed timelines.
- Manage discrepancies especially for product details and PO creation and resolve the issues with good follow-up skill.
- Follow up stakeholders promptly/urgently whenever necessary with good follow-up skill.
- Ensure all suppliers' invoices are correct and forwarded to Finance team in a timely manner.
- Ensure suppliers and internal stakeholders comply with our standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Proactively support in improving the overall product details/PO creation processes with guidance.
- Support in any ad hoc tasks assigned with effective time and task management skills.
Requirements:
- Good written & verbal communication skills and able to interact with internal teams and external suppliers confidently and professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and highly IT literate.
- Strong attention to detail and high commitment to accuracy.
- Good multitasking and time management skills.
- High sense of urgency (problem solving, follow up skills).
- Able to work in face paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
