RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Partnership:

  • Support the Senior Regional P&C Business Partner in collaborating with department leaders to implement P&C strategies and initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Assist in gathering information and preparing materials for meetings with business leaders.

Workforce Planning and Management:

  • Help coordinate the manpower planning process by collecting and organizing data on headcount, organization structure, and budget requirements.
  • Support the P&C COE/program teams and line managers in talent acquisition, talent management, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and rewards initiatives by providing administrative and logistical assistance.

Employee Engagement:

  • Assist in the rollout and communication of employee engagement surveys and other feedback channels.
  • Help analyze survey results and support the development and tracking of action plans to enhance employee morale and productivity.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries, escalating complex employee relations issues to the Senior HRBP as and when necessary.
  • Support line managers in the documentation and coordination of conflict resolution, disciplinary, and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Learning and Development:

  • Work with the Organisational & Talent Development team and line managers to help identify training needs and coordinate learning and development activities.
  • Assist in tracking participation and feedback for training programs.

Change Management:

  • Support organizational change initiatives by helping to communicate updates and resources to employees.
  • Provide administrative support during transitions to ensure smooth implementation.

Data Analysis:

  • Assist in collecting and organizing P&C metrics and analytics to help identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare basic reports and summaries for review by the Senior HRBP.

Project Management:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support for P&C projects focused on continuous improvement.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and follow-up actions as directed by the Senior HRBP.    

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Human Resources or a similar supporting HR role. Experience in a fast-paced,  matrix, or regional environment is an advantage.
  • Work location and expectations: Successful applicant is expected to be present at the office for work (5 days work week); operating from 2 locations, either at Mercu 3, KL Eco City (2 or 3 days per week)  and Zalora Fulfilment Center at Section 23, Shah Alam (2 or 3 days per week)
  • HR Knowledge: Basic understanding of HR principles and practices, including but not limited to industrial & employee relations, performance management,
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to interact professionally with employees at all levels and convey information clearly.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical Skills: Comfortable working with data, preparing reports, and using HR systems or Google Sheets to track and analyze HR metrics.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team members and work under the guidance of a senior HRBP.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and supporting solutions, with the ability to escalate complex matters appropriately.
  • Confidentiality: Demonstrates discretion and maintains confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and open to change, able to adapt to new processes, systems, and organizational priorities.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with HRIS (Oracle) and Google Workspace while also comfortable in learning new HR systems or tools.
