Senior Manager of Organization Effectiveness
Senior Manager of Organisation Effectiveness will lead the design and delivery of frameworks, policies, and strategies that strengthen the organisation design, headcount planning, and internal communications.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, with responsibility for building a future-ready organisation through modernised People & Culture policies, disciplined headcount planning, efficient organisation design, and clear communications and effective change management. The successful candidate will partner with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure that the organisation remains agile, efficient, and aligned with its long-term strategic objectives.
Responsibilities :
People & Culture Policy
- Lead the design, review, and governance of People policies and Employee Handbooks.
- Ensure policies remain compliant with local regulatory requirements while supporting organisational values and employee experience.
- Partner with HRBPs to translate policies into practice and embed them consistently across the business.
Headcount Planning
- Lead ZALORA’s annual headcount planning cycle, ensuring alignment with the annual payroll budget and business priorities.
- Drive accurate headcount forecasting by integrating business plans, attrition trends, and workforce analytics.
- Develop and maintain a cost management tool to track headcount, payroll budgets, and cost implications of workforce decisions.
- Prepare and present regular headcount and cost reports for the Senior Management Team, highlighting risks, variances, and recommendations.
- Partner with Finance and the Senior Management Team to ensure workforce plans are financially sustainable and strategically aligned.
Organisation Design
- Partner with the Senior Management Team to review and refine the organisation’s structure to ensure efficiency, agility, and scalability.
- Design frameworks for role clarity, spans and layers, and organisational health diagnostics.
- Lead initiatives to optimize operating models, governance, and decision-making structures, and support transformation projects that require reorganisation or restructuring.
Internal Communications & Change Management
- Develop internal communication strategies and narratives that effectively engage stakeholders and employees, and support CEO and Executive communications to ensure clarity, alignment, and impact for organisation-wide messages across various channels.
- Lead the design and execution of change management strategies for key organisational initiatives to drive alignment and adoption.
Strategic Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a thought partner to the Senior Management Team on organisational effectiveness, culture, and transformation.
- Collaborate with other HR COE teams and HRBPs to deliver integrated people strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development, or related field.
- 10+ years of HR experience with demonstrated expertise in headcount planning, organisation design, and change management.
- Proven ability to lead headcount and payroll planning cycles in partnership with Finance and Total Rewards team.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with advanced skills in pivot tables, dashboards, and financial modelling.
- Strong change management credentials; certification in Prosci/ADKAR or similar methodology is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform organisation design and headcount planning.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience designing and delivering communication strategies for complex initiatives, including executive/CEO messaging.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills; able to influence at senior levels.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving business environments.
