The Pricing and Merchandising team is a key pillar of the Commercial Revenue Office at ZALORA. The Commercial Revenue Office operates within the constraints of product, customer, and technology platforms, leveraging all available levers—such as price, campaigns, search, sorting, and related processes—to maximize sales and profitability.
Description:
As a Pricing and Merchandising Executive, you will be fully responsible for managing the pricing and merchandising of Apparel and/or Non-Apparel categories, driving growth for leading brands such as Adidas, Under Armour, and Calvin Klein across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Indonesia. You will conduct in-depth analyses and implement strategic actions to optimize revenue, margin, and sell-through. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of business fundamentals, logic, and category dynamics.
- Ensure operational excellence by executing pricing and campaign deliverables accurately and on time.
- Monitor and analyze weekly category and brand performance to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and develop targeted action plans.
- Oversee inventory risk management to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Design and implement pricing and campaign strategies to maximize revenue, margin, and sell-through, providing data-driven insights and recommendations aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Own the P&L for assigned categories and brands, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve business targets.
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of pricing and campaign initiatives, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Proven ability to deliver operational excellence and accuracy, ensuring all deliverables are executed efficiently and with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in pricing logic, campaign management, and performance analysis is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
- Proactive, results-driven, and improvement-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Python).
- Proven ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and complex calculations).
- Proficient in both verbal and written English.
