Retail Brand Partnerships Senior Manager
Summary
As a Senior Manager, you’ll set the overall vision and direction for the ZALORA Advertising Platform and other Brand Campaigns, leading the team in developing innovative, large-scale campaigns and strategic partnerships. You’ll be accountable for high-level planning, resource allocation, and driving business growth through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities:
ZALORA Advertising Platform
- Drive the strategy, conceptualization, and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with ZALORA’s business objectives and brand positioning.
- Lead internal reporting and business development of the ZALORA Advertising Platform, closely monitor performance against targets, and proactively adjust strategies and resource allocation as needed to ensure ZALORA’s business objectives are met.
- Create both top-down and bottom-up revenue forecasts to inform business planning and create an accurate picture of ZALORA’s advertising revenue.
- Oversee ZAP Revenue planning for all categories, including budget recommendations, resource coordination, and performance forecasting.
- Build relationships with brand partners and secure investments for the ZALORA Advertising Platform (ZAP) to improve their exposure and performance, while achieving advertising revenue targets.
- Manage a handful of select top brands across different categories, across all ZALORA countries.
- Create curated marketing plans that strategically optimize brand budgets, and present comprehensive findings through post-campaign reports, as well as quarterly and annual brand performance reviews.
Campaign Management & Internal Collaborations
- Take the lead in ZAP operations and collaborate with multiple teams across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service/Experience, as well as Marketing channels (Performance Marketing, Onsite, CRM, Social Media, PR, Partnerships, SEO, etc.) to develop new SOPs to create further brand campaign management efficiencies.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for major brand launches and collaborations.
- Approve and track campaign budgets, expenditures, and financial reconciliations, working closely with the Finance and Marketing teams.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of contracts, ex-deals, and partnership agreements in collaboration with the Legal team.
Analytics & Optimization
- Mentor managers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and analytical excellence.
- Champion data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics and market intelligence to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
- Analyze campaign and business data, generate regular reports, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for the team.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and projects, ensuring targets are met and flagging any variances.
- Leverage analytics platforms and tools to extract and visualize data.
People Management
- Maintain resilience and a constructive attitude when navigating setbacks, ensuring continuous progress and team morale.
- Encourage a culture of learning, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
- Provide guidance, training, and feedback to the ZAP team in order to support their professional growth.
- Identify high-potential employees, create succession plans, and champion learning and development initiatives across teams.
- Oversee performance management processes for managers and their teams, ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Brand Marketing team and senior leadership, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations.
- Assign tasks and projects based on team members’ strengths and development needs.
- Assist team members with the development of campaign proposals and negotiation of ex-deals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal outcomes for both ZALORA and its brand partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related
- 7-10+ years in campaign, account, or digital marketing management with proven business growth
- Strong analytical and strategic skills; able to turn data into actionable insights
- Expert in leading large-scale, multi-channel projects, including planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management
- Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and drive for improvement
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Resilient and able to maintain a positive, solutions-oriented mindset when facing challenges
- Deep understanding of fashion, design, and consumer trends
