Associate Manager - IT Services
The Associate Manager is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day operations of the IT Services team supporting THE ICONIC. This includes overseeing key performance measures to achieve both operations and service excellence. Independently and proactively manage operations while identifying service gaps and performing ongoing communication to the team and stakeholders. The key tasks involve the overall functioning of the team in Manila by working in conjunction with THE ICONIC’s IT Team in Sydney and respective local team/s.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with ZALORA and its Australian counterpart THE ICONIC in collaborating with teams and stakeholders located in Manila, Philippines and Sydney, Australia
- Responsible for managing the overall performance of the ZALORA PH IT Services in delivering key performance indicators.
- Fully support the assigned team to perform duties and responsibilities; not limited to:
- Provide IT Service Desk and application support via ticketing system
- Support on escalations for various internal and external systems use at THE ICONIC
- General maintenance and administration of hardware, software and other operating systems
- Network, Active Domain, User and Back end, UEM Endpoint Management
- Lead and Manage Projects within the THE ICONIC IT Team when needed
- Management and coaching of local operations team/ direct reports.
- Facilitation of weekly team meetings and contribute to the meeting agenda driving positive, constructive changes to the team and ensuring all relevant information is communicated.
- Formulate high - level department reporting for management teams across THE ICONIC and ZALORA
- Closely working with ZALORA and THE ICONIC’s Management Teams to execute the strategic plans of the department and the progress toward achieving strategic goals
- Oversee and engage in recruitment activities in association with the HR department, as needed.
- Conduct needs assessment, performance review, establish productivity, quality and IT operations standards.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives with the leadership team
- Liaising with, and managing, third-party suppliers and vendors external to the company, as needed.
- Monitoring of trends or issues that are reported immediately to the management team and key stakeholders.
- Always being accessible to staff and providing honest and open feedback on their performance and team direction.
- A clear understanding of all ICONIC policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate THE ICONIC and ZALORA culture through both behavior and attitude.
- Development of the team's understanding of Australian business practices and culture.
- Be flexible in working hours and shifts, ensuring the team has a direct point of contact should it be needed.
- Ensure that all team members are successful and that they become long-term assets to THE ICONIC.
- Intermediate to advance knowledge in using Microsoft Office and/or GSuite Applications
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Presentation or reporting.
- Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
- Amenable to hybrid work set-up, at least 1x a week onsite - Office Location: MCX, Muntinlupa City
