Job Profile

Zalora is Asia's leading online fashion destination, operating across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Hong Kong as part of Global Fashion Group. We give customers access to thousands of local and international brands across apparel, footwear, accessories, and beauty, backed by fast delivery, easy returns, and a seamless digital shopping experience.

The Revenue Office is Zalora's dedicated function for optimising everything that drives the revenue and conversion funnel. We treat product, customer experience, and the tech platform as fixed constraints, and pull every commercial lever available to us — pricing, campaigns, search and discovery, sorting, and the processes around them — to deliver the best possible sales and profit outcome. The Revenue Office operates independently from Commercial and Marketing, giving it a cross-functional, company-wide view of performance.

Revenue Analytics is the analytical backbone of the Revenue Office, working alongside Merchandising, Pricing, and PMO. The team builds the data infrastructure, standards, and analytical rigor that every other team in the function relies on, and applies advanced analytics and data science to uncover new growth opportunities. If the Revenue Office is the engine driving Zalora's growth, Revenue Analytics is what tells it exactly where to steer.

Key Responsibilities

As Associate Manager, you will go beyond pulling data and building reports. You will own the analytical framework that the entire Revenue Office runs on — setting the standards, models, and dashboards that turn raw data into decisions. Your day-to-day will span:

  • KPI Standardisation — Standardise and govern KPI definitions across the Revenue Office, partnering with Data Warehousing and Tech to guarantee tracking accuracy and a single source of truth.
  • Target Setting & Dashboards — Set sales and profitability targets for individual Revenue teams and build the dashboards they need to monitor performance in real time.
  • Customer & Behavioural Analytics — Analyse complex datasets to understand customer behaviour and shopping patterns — what drives purchase, what motivates repeat visits, and how different customer segments respond to offers — and translate those insights into concrete actions such as voucher strategy and segmentation design.
  • Revenue–Profit Trade-off Management — Evaluate and manage the trade-off between revenue growth and profitability across promotions, vouchers, and CRM segmentation, ensuring commercial activity delivers sustainable margins rather than growth at any cost.
  • Commercial–Campaign Alignment — Serve as the key connector between the Commercial team and the Campaign team, aligning merchandising strategy with campaign execution so that the right offer reaches the right customer at the right moment — ultimately converting intent into purchase.
  • Forecasting & P&L Management — Forecast and manage the commercial team's P&L performance, owning the predictive model that factors in seasonality and the expected impact of levers the Revenue team controls — campaigns, pricing, CRM lifecycle, and onsite discovery.
  • Performance Review & Diagnostics — Lead the weekly Revenue performance review, diagnosing the root causes behind strong or weak performance and steering trading decisions in light of external factors from Commercial (buying/planning) and Marketing (traffic/campaigns).
  • Cross-Functional Projects — Initiate and lead cross-functional projects that optimise the profit funnel and customer experience — including machine learning applications such as pricing elasticity, customer segmentation, and propensity modelling.

Tools & Technology You’ll Work With

Zalora's Revenue Analytics team works with a modern, AI-forward stack — you won't need deep coding to be effective here:

  • Looker — Google's dashboarding platform, used across the Revenue Office to monitor sales, profitability, and funnel performance.
  • AI Tools (Claude, Gemini, and similar) — used daily to accelerate analysis, synthesise findings, draft business cases, automate repetitive analytical work, and support decision-making at speed.
  • A Continuously Evolving Toolkit — as the team continues to adopt new AI-driven analytics and automation tools, you'll be expected to pick these up quickly and help others do the same.

Who We’re Looking For

  • You are innately curious, highly analytical, and energised by distilling complex business questions into clear, actionable answers.
  • You have strong project management skills — able to juggle multiple initiatives, keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned, and drive projects from idea to completion on time.
  • You have a track record of initiating and leading cross-functional projects, working effectively with teams outside your own.
  • You pick up new tools and ways of working quickly, including AI-powered analytics tools, and are excited rather than intimidated by a fast-changing tech stack.
  • You communicate clearly and persuasively, able to turn data and analysis into a compelling business narrative for stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have at least 6 years of relevant experience in areas such as e-commerce, business analytics, project management, or a related analytical field, with a track record of taking on increasing ownership and scope.
  • You hold a degree from a top university in any discipline — what matters most is sharp analytical thinking, not a specific technical background.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment, and are comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous problems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to support analysis, writing, or workflow automation.
  • Experience with Looker or similar BI/dashboarding platforms.
  • Formal project management training or certification (e.g. PMP, Agile/Scrum).
  • Exposure to e-commerce, retail, or fashion industry dynamics.
