Data Engineer II

• Collaborate within a data engineering team, offering guidance, mentorship, and assistance. 
• Work with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and develop suitable solutions. 
• Design, construct, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines to support business needs. 
• Ensure data accuracy and quality through the implementation of validation and testing procedures. 
• Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and adherence to best practices. 
• Coordinate with DevOps to deploy and manage data solutions effectively. 
• Stay updated on data engineering trends and best practices, suggesting improvements for the data platform. 
• Develop and manage a data engineering roadmap to align with company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 
• 4 to 8 years of data engineering experience, emphasizing large-scale data platforms and products
• Proficiency in GCP/ AWS cloud data platform
• Proficiency in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive, DBT, airflow, looker
• Strong programming skills in Scala or Python. 
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking. 
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
