Senior Executive - Pricing & Merchandising
ZALORA is seeking a Senior Executive to drive pricing and merchandising excellence across our business, bringing great fashion products to customers. You will leverage data, customer insights, market intelligence, and our in-house pricing model to set the right price at the right time with the right visibility—maximizing sales, profitability, and inventory productivity.
This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver profitable growth across Retail and Marketplace. It’s a unique opportunity to shape ZALORA’s commercial performance in a fast-paced e-commerce environment and accelerate your career in pricing science and revenue merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Pricing
- Plan and execute promos/markdowns within caps and co-fund limits; run A/B tests and post‑event analyses.
- Execute price adjustments during peak season and BAU season
- Category & brand growth
- Analyze cross-category performance; act on sales and margin opportunities.
- Manage top Risk brands for sustainable growth in the Philippines.
- Partner with Commercial Leads to grow Non‑Risk brands via campaigns, onsite visibility, and price tactics.
- Inventory management (local warehouse)
- Monitor STR%, age buckets, and cover; use pricing/promo levers to clear aged/overstock.
- Coordinate with Supply on replenishment and buy/return recommendations to protect margin and sell‑through.
- Ensure data accuracy between inventory systems and pricing actions; reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Onsite merchandising
- Execute campaigns to maximize onsite assortment, coordinated with Commercial and Marketing stakeholders
- Align with Marketing on campaign calendars and tactical offers.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Marketing, Fashion, or any related field
- Experience: 2-3+ years in pricing, merchandising, category management, or revenue management; e-commerce experience preferred.
- Skills
- Analytical & Commercial: Strong business acumen; ability to turn insights into actions.
- Pricing & Promotions: Experience with pricing models/guardrails (Aries), markdown optimization, promo ROI.
- Tools: Advanced Excel; Looker (preferred) for dashboards and self-serve analytics
- Communication & Stakeholdering: Clear storytelling with data; cross-functional collaboration.
- Execution: Project management, prioritization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
