Business Development Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive business development strategy across all markets, aligning with category heads and managing high-level relationships.
- Coordinate visits and engage with senior leadership of targeted brands, leveraging Malaysia's strategic position for cross-border accessibility.
- Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance sales capability and capacity, ensuring teams are equipped to engage brands effectively.
- Support deeper operational topics and lead the acquisition, contracting and implementation stages of the sales funnel.
- Conduct benchmarking to map competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and pricing, building ZALORA's market positioning.
- Dedicate efforts to strategy, structure, and stakeholder engagement, while overseeing analysis and conversion funnel activities.
- Collaborate with the corporate communications team to drive external communication strategy, ensuring effective positioning of 1SS to attract and convert more clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development or a related field, with a focus on strategic growth and relationship management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and drive high-level strategic conversations.
- Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market analysis and develop actionable insights.
- Experience in e-commerce or logistics industries.
- Familiarity with regional markets and cross-border operations.
