Senior Manager- Analytics and Business Planning
The role of Senior Manager, Analytics and Business Planning is to own the business planning for Zalora spanning across inventory, inbounds, sell-through, revenue, gross margin across all categories and brands for Zalora across its retail and marketplace business. In addition, the person will also be responsible for all planning related to traffic, conversion, and new customer acquisition metrics. This person will have a key role in bringing together the supply and demand equation for Zalora, and how that aligns to the overall business objectives.
This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Responsibilities:
- Own the planning of inventory, inbounds, sell-through, revenue, gross margin across all categories and brands for Zalora across its retail and marketplace business.
- Own the planning of customer metrics along with analysts- customer acquisition, retention, traffic across channels and platforms, etc,
- Own the category and brand growth vs plans by working directly or liaising with teams like pricing, merchandising and marketing teams.
- Work closely with tech teams to automate existing processes; work towards a single view of targets across all teams across the organization.
- Work with data sciences team to identify automated forecasting of which products to buy in what quantity.
- Own all retail excellence and marketplace excellence metrics along with the commercial, revenue and finance teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelors/ Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
- Has 7+ years of experience in customer tech companies/ consulting companies.
- Has 3+ years of experience leading teams.
- Strong analytical skills- ability to understand data quickly and take quick actions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Looker, SQL.
- Organized multi-tasker with an eye for detail in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to forge effective cross-functional team relationships.
- Desire to achieve results and has attention to detail.
- Amenable to report to office 2x a week or depending on business need.
