We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual to join our Planning team.

 

The central planner will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring, reporting, and interpreting sales, margin, and stock performance for all categories and overall Zalora 
  • Providing recommendations on actions to maximize sales and margin opportunities while limiting stock risk, demonstrating a deep understanding of key drivers such as sell-through.
  • Managing the current version of the Weekly Sales Stock Intake (WSSI) and Intake Planner, including the collation of all teams' input, setup, and leadership of the monthly WSSI review.
  • Spearheading the design, development, and implementation of WSSI and Intake Planner for new, granular planning processes across the region and business functions.
  • Evaluating and integrating WSSI and Intake Planner with other master data, transactional data, and reporting systems.
  • Project managing the monthly commercial trade meeting and planning meeting as well as the seasonal budget planning process, ensuring that memos are updated in a timely manner, documenting key actions, and tracking progress.
  • Supporting the country teams in planning and reporting processes, creating standards, and improving efficiencies.
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis and developing Excel-based tools to support strategic commercial decision-making.
  • Liaising with finance and operations teams to respectively support cash flow and warehouse capacity forecasting based on intake plans.
  • Collaborating closely with other planners to develop buying and planning tools that improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics or equivalent
  • At least 1 year work experience, preferably in business or financial planning/analysis (commercial or FP&A)
  • Excellent understanding of MS Excel, knowledge of analytical tools such as Tableau a plus
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • High attention to details
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment
  • Interest in the e-commerce and fashion retail industries
