Associate Manager - Partnerships
The Associate Manager - Partnerships leads the development, execution, and optimization of ZALORA’s external partnerships across multiple industries. The role is responsible for driving co-marketing growth, customer acquisition, offline channel expansion, and revenue-generating initiatives—including the ZALORA Advertising Platform (ZAP), ZALORA Credit Card and Loyalty partnerships. The position requires strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to translate high-level strategies into hands-on execution that drives measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
- Lead the planning, negotiation, and execution of strategic marketing partnerships across banks, payment networks, lifestyle brands, and non-endemic sectors
- Identify new partnership pipelines, evaluate business opportunities, and spearhead end-to-end deal cycles to support acquisition, frequency, and revenue targets
- Co-develop online and offline partnership strategies with the Marketing Director/Head of Partnerships, supporting loyalty initiatives, new customer programs, and growth of emerging channels
2. Campaign & Account Management
- Manage day-to day operations of partnership deals, ensuring that campaign deliverables, timelines, and KPIs are consistently met
- Lead partner relationships, manage external stakeholder communication, and coordinate campaign execution with internal teams
- Develop co-marketing initiatives that amplify ZALORA’s presence across partners’ channels (digital, CRM, in-store, new media, and experiential marketing)
- Oversee the execution of offline marketing initiatives—including pop-ups, OOH, ATL, and 360° campaigns—to strengthen omnichannel visibility
3. ZALORA Loyalty
- Grow the ZALORA Credit Card and ZALORA Loyalty Program customer base by managing acquisition campaigns, optimizing ongoing initiatives, and developing usage programs with issuing bank partners, as well as other verticals
- Coordinate with payment and lifestyle partners on monthly calendars, promo mechanics, reporting, and fulfillment requirements to strengthen ZCC and Loyalty value propositions
4. ZALORA Advertising Platform (ZAP) Enablement
- Support commercial and brand partner teams in pitching ZAP solutions, securing investments, and improving brand partner visibility and performance
- Partner with ZAP Operations and Marketing to refine media planning, optimize monetization, and ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently
- Prepare strategic pitch materials, case studies, and performance evaluations for brands and agencies
5. Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Create, maintain, and consistently update partnership trackers and KPI dashboards
- Analyze campaign and partnership performance, produce detailed reports, and recommend data-driven optimizations to improve ROI and operational efficiency
- Monitor marketing budgets, track expenditure, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and partner commitments
6. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Legal, CS, Operations, and external agencies to ensure seamless partnership execution
- Support major ZALORA marketing events and corporate initiatives requiring cross-functional collaboration
- Supervise support staff or coordinators (if assigned), ensuring alignment on goals and deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Management, Communications, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, preferably within eCommerce, retail, payments, or media
- Proven success in negotiating and executing partnership deals or co-marketing programs
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills; fluency in English required
- Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations
- Excellent execution skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business tools
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in offline retail marketing, media buying, or creative production is an advantage
